I’ve been spending every sunny moment lately out and about on campus working on a project for Northwestern University. Somehow I don’t see this shot making the cover of the viewbook but it’s a personal favorite.

Theater Stands With Autism
I joined Theater Stands With Autism for a single children’s performance this weekend. The show, from the Purple Crayon Players theater for young audiences board at Northwestern University, uses a team of trained “adventure guides” and players to guide young children with autism through an interactive performance geared toward their interests and needs.
Bryan
Two portraits of Bryan, who asked that his last name not be published. Bryan, having recently come out as a transgender man, cut off the hair that marked him as a woman hours before these images were made.
Qatar
I had the opportunity to travel with a group of Northwestern students to visit our Qatar campus recently. The country strongly discourages street photography, which presented a challenge. There was a lot I would have liked to shoot but could not, and a lot of shooting from the hip.
